ddress Book Recovery Free is a handy tool that enables you to recover deleted contacts from the standard Windows Address Book. This storage is used by popular email clients, such as Microsoft Outlook and Outlook Express (WAB files).
Address Book Recovery Free allows you to do the following:
- quickly recover records erroneously deleted from the Address Book;
- view the history of Address Book changes;
- recover deleted records from the Address Book damaged by a virus or an antivirus (as the result of checking and attempting to fix the Windows Address Book file);
- restore data from unreadable Address Book files (due to damages caused by power shortages, abrupt session interruption and other technical reasons).
Contacts stored in Windows Address Book's *.wab files are used by a wide range of programs, including, of course, MS Outlook and MS Outlook Express, the two most popular email clients. This program will help you restore contacts that were deleted by mistake or contacts that seemed to be no longer needed at the time of deletion. Such entries will be marked with a red cross icon on the list of recovered contacts.
Recovered data can be easily converted into the popular Business Card format (vCard). The majority of personal information managers (PIM) and mobile devices support this standard.
Deleted contacts are recovered nearly instantly, even if you have a very large Windows Address Book file.
