It has web interface with the similar look and functionality on the local and distant workstations. Customers view MPEG-4 coded video and have full control of the software via network that security computer can be run without screen, keyboard, and mouse attached. Software`s modular composition drastically improves reliability because all modules proceed as autonomous programs. If one part stops working, other units keep on working. For instance if the `record` component freezes, `watchdog` starts again it immediately that viewers don`t notice anything because they are watching video via a `playback` module. The software performs `repeated` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never happens. The recording can be constant or it can be activated by motion, human face recognition, or by schedule. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance server as well as on apart server through Web interface. The program does simultaneous video playback for event analysis from multiple webcams simultaneously. Also recorded data can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded information can be encrypted and password protected.
