Behest Sermon Recorder 2.1.20
he Behest Sermon Recorder for Windows (XP, Vista, Win7 or Win8) simplifies the task of recording sermons (and any other form of audio) directly to MP3 format on your computer - you simply need to be able to connect your computer to the recording output of your sound desk or other sound source which will be a very straightforward procedure for most sound desk technicians.
An optional extra feature allows simultaneous creation of two files at different qualities - ideal for creating Podcast and CD quality recordings.
Recording to MP3 on a computer rather than directly to CD or to tape leaves you free to easily...
* Edit the sermon recording using audio editing software, this allows you (depending on your editing software) to remove unwanted material, reduce noise and add other effects.
* Master audio CDs using Windows Media Player or other CD writing software
* Copy the sermon onto MP3 players
* Make the sermon available online
It also means that you are not restricted to the amount of material you can record in one go and so don't get the same breaks that happen when you have to change disk or cassette.
The recorder is very easy to use with a minimal amount of setting up and is very compact in terms of space used on your desktop. It is also light on your computer's resources using only a couple of percent of any modern computer's processor time and only about 10MB of system memory.
Controlling the recorder is as easy as pressing a record button to begin recording and a stop button to finish recording, with a pause function also available when required.
Once you have finished recording, simply enter the details of the sermon and these will be saved into the MP3 files which can then be read and displayed by most MP3 players and media player software.
