It has web interface with the same look and controls on the local and remote computers. Users view MPEG coded video and have full control of the program via network that security server can be run without screen, keyboard, and mouse attached. Program`s modular composition extensively improves reliability because all units proceed as autonomous software. If one part stops working, other modules go on working. For instance if the `record` component fails, `watchdog` starts again it right away that users don`t notice anything because they are watching picture via a `playback` part. The software performs `repeated` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never appears. The recording can be constant or it can be triggered by motion, human face recognition, or by calendar. The software has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance station as well as on remote workstation via Web interface. The program makes simultaneous video playback for event analysis from many cameras concurrently. Also recorded information can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded files can be encrypted and password protected.
