he program has been designed as common software for surveillance cross platforms functioning simultaneously with wireless and wired IP cameras, Television-cards, capture cards, power-line, and USB cameras. It has web interface with the equal form and controls on the local and remote pcs. Customers see MPEG-4 coded picture and have full management of the program via network that security server can be operated without monitor, keyboard, and mouse attached. Software`s modular structure drastically increases reliability because all parts proceed as autonomous programs. If one unit freezes, other units keep on running. For instance if the `record` module stops working, `watchdog` restarts it immediately that users don`t notice anything because they are viewing picture through a `playback` component. The software makes `cyclic` recording that the `disk full` situation never appears. The recording can be constant or it can be initiated by motion, human face detection, or by timetable. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance workstation as well as on remote server using Web interface. The software performs synchronized video playback for event examination from many webcams concurrently. Also recorded files can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded files can be encrypted and password protected.
