Inside every media file there is relevant information which FileFormation can read and use to create automaticly a structure of folders to put your media files in. When organizing by date you can choose from many representation of how the date will be transformed into folders. Every single part of the date that is year, month and day can be used in any combination to create folder hierarchy that suits you.
The software resembles the look and the interaction with Windows Explorer so is very intuitive to use. It has simple wizzard to guide you through choosing the organization parameters. The different date representations are already available through single click. You can start the software through desktop icon, through windows explorer menu over files or folder selection which you want to organise. When you plugin your camera you will be offered to load its content with FileFormation which you can then copy or move organized.
