This is under the EU Denied Boarding Regulation. You are entitled to compensation up to 600 Euros if your flight (to or from any EU airport) is delayed (for 3 hours or more) or cancelled, and that you can claim for any previous delays or cancellations right back as far as 6 years ago.
All people, including childern are to be compensated by the airline by up to 600 Euros if the flight is delayd more than 3 hours, or cancelled completely, and all carriers are obliged under EU laws and international treaties to pay this in cash, and not to offer vouchers or similar discounted forms of compensation. Claims may be made directly from this website application. You must include the names of the two airports involved, your booking reference, the date of the flight and the name of the airline involved.
