Protection activates with a secret hotkey, momentarily. And of course, you don't have to reboot your computer to make the protection take effect. Moreover, if a malefactor logs on to the system under a different user name, or reboots the computer in the safe mode, the hidden folders remain hidden. Even deletion of the Folder Lastic folder won't reveal the disguise! Only you can make those protected files visible again.
Folder Lastic supports FAT and NTFS file system, can hide/show multiple folders at once, and in an emergency case allows you to activate protection remotely, from another computer. The program features four protection modes and the ability to allow authorized applications to see hidden folders.
