RECOVER DELETED FILES
IGEO undelete comes with powerful capabilities that let you recover deleted files easily. The files may get deleted due to a number of reasons. You may accidently delete a file or a folder from the recycle bin and the incident may leave you in shock. Getting rid of files from the recycle bin means that you cannot see those files ever again.
The IGEO Undelete software nullifies this belief and retrieves files even deleted from the recycle bin. Also, you can recover files deleted from a number of hard drives. Such hard drives may include FAT 12, FAT 16, FAT 32, NTFS and NTFS5 drives.
QUICK AND DEEP SCAN
It is often the case that you do not have enough time to scan the computer for the deleted files and you may not want all of the deleted files as well. In such a situation, you can use the Quick Scan feature built in the software that lets you scan the drives quickly and display the recently deleted files.
The Quick Scan feature, however, does not reveal all of the files as it does not conduct an intensive search. If you want files that you believe are deep down the computer memory, use the Deep Scan function that helps you do just that.
RECOVER FILES FROM FORMATTED HARD DRIVE
IGEO Undelete can also help retrieve lost data due to formatting a hard disk. Formatting a hard disk implies that the computers operating system gets rid of all the data on the disk, however it creates address tables from where it accesses information. When a disk is formatted, the data does not get deleted completely. Only the data on the address tables gets deleted. With the help of Deep Scan method of IGEO Undelete, you can scan for the disks that you have formatted and retrieve the data from there.
IGEO Undelete also recovers deleted files if disk was formatted by using different allocation unit size.
