Junior World of Words 5.1.3
his program teaches English vocabulary in an enjoyable and extremely effective way. Based on the concept that visual stimuli reinforce language learning, it teaches around a thousand common English words through 45 topic-based picture screens, each with its own built-in testing of comprehension and reproduction.
A) Words: Pointing at objects brings up labels, clicking on them lets the learner to hear the words spoken.
B) Sentences: You listen to (and repeat) sentences about the people and objects in the pictures.
C) Comprehension is tested by way of a "quiz" where you are asked to find something in the picture. You have to click on the correct object.
At the end of each session you are encouraged to print out your progress report.
Help is given in French, German, Spanish and Polish if required.
