Log On! 1.00
OG ON! - Internet Account Logon Automation Utility (version 1.00). Provides an automated mechanism to enter your internet account sign-in name and password information for those web sites that don?t offer a means of remembering that sign-in information for you so you can easily re-enter it on demand. Serves as a handy secure central repository for all your internet account sign-in information that you access with one special master password that only you know. Encourages the use of strong passwords (a mixture of random upper/lower case letters, numbers and special symbols) since you can easily re-use them without having to type them in again. Your information is stored in a secure encrypted format locally on your computer, but the editing interface allows you to see and manipulate your passwords in easily readable plain text. All the information can be copied and pasted elsewhere and you can copy and paste text into the utility?s edit fields from external sources. An important safety mechanism provides the ability to reset the special master password in case you forget or lose it. Logon automation can be accomplished in several ways. The first method (2-clicks) requires that the user first set the input focus to the first user input field (typically the account user name/email) on the Host web site page and then click the corresponding Logon Host button on the utility?s main user interface window. The second method (1-click) requires that the Host web site page be in its default fully initialized state first before the user clicks the corresponding Logon Host button on the utility?s main user interface window. Support for OpenID providers is accomplished seamlessly after the user specifies the use of a two-part sign-in process for the OpenID provider host and the OpenID web site account. The user can also employ either Logon automation method (1-click or 2-clicks) discussed above in addition to the OpenID two-part sign-in process.
