PageR Enterprise Network Monitoring 5.3.6
ageR server monitoring allows great flexibility by using expert monitored object types such as Disc Space, Event Logs, Unix Server, Unix Syslog etc. Each monitored object type is dedicated to a specialist server monitoring role. There are over 100 monitored object types to choose from.
When a problem is detected you can be ALERTED by SMS text to your mobile phone, iPhone or Blackberry, Voice alert to mobile phone or landline, Pager, Email (SMTP or MAPI), Network Broadcast, Web Page update, Windows Event Log alert, Display screen, Klaxon, Modem dialup, Fax broadcast, VOIP (Skype), Instant Messenger or Live Messenger, SNMP, Twitter, VB SCRIPT driven Task Object, VOIP. All are highly configurable with full escalation capability. If the problem is not resolved in a set time the next contact on the escalation list is alerted, and so on. Quiet Times can be set so that you are not disturbed when you do not wish to be. A web browser interface allows you to log in over the internet and review all outstanding problems. Full data logging is included with an SQL database and Crystal Reports.
PageR Enterprise has integrated monitoring for many temperature and environment measuring devices such as Room Alert and TemPageR from Avtech as well as a number of other vendor's solutions for temperature monitoring.
PageR Enterprise has enormous benefits when it comes to monitoring multiple devices on the network. For example, it provides a single management point where all devices can be viewed and set up. Integrated reporting of temperature and other conditions is now possible. A single web page creates access to all networked devices being monitored as well as several management information tools such as our new SQL Reports Database.
PageR also has much more reliable alerting features. For example we have alert escalation, automatic problem correction using 'TASK' objects, Quiet Times, and a wide choice of alerting methodology.
