It keeps your whole system in a 'known-good' state, preventing hacker attacks and malicious software from activating. Because the software does not need to identify individual threats in order to block them, it doesn't rely on signature updates to ensure system security in the way traditional antivirus software does. However, SysWatch Deluxe does include a best-of-breed virus scanner so you can check suspicious files as well as or instead of launching them in the sandbox.
