tartGen enables Windows users to create innovative personal start menus, generate mobile start page apps, and collaborate across a company with an integrated enterprise knowledge base. Together this integrated product suite increases productivity by giving you more convenient access to your most frequently used information.
The StartGen Productivity Software Suite consists of a Windows application for creating MenuSets, a cloud hosting service for accessing start page apps from mobile devices, and an enterprise knowledge base stored in a SQL Server database. MenuSets consist of hierarchical collections of ten types of shortcuts to actionable information. StartGen menus include two search features that can be customized to search a wide variety of sources including SQL databases. After creating a MenuSet in StartGen, it can be used on your PC as a start menu (Standard License), on your mobile devices as a browser start page (Mobile service), or by other users across your enterprise to manage information more effectively (Enterprise License).
