yping Guru is a typing tutor application developed in Java developing environment to aid learning of various keyboard layouts and calculate user's WPM. Typing Guru can be used to learn key layouts for English and other languages.
Unlike most typing tutors instead of a picture of a keyboard, theuser sees text hints. The bottom three lines provide explanatory hints f.e. 'Central row', ' between'H' and 'K' ' and 'J+2'. Those are the keys you can easily find with your fingertips because they have little bump for this exact purpose. Once you located these two you can easily locate the other letters, numbers or other special keys.
This unique approach ensures effective learning of the keyboard layout .
