WorldTimer 5.65.8
orldTimer is a user configurable world clock that can display a number of clocks using different time zones. Each clock can be configured to display with either a digital or analog clock face.
The user is able to configure the appearance of the clocks to suit their own tastes. Almost all aspects of WorldTimer are user configurable, including the font and colour used to display text.
Clocks may be digital or analog and a combination of both may be displayed at the same time.
In addition to this, WorldTimer contains the ability to add user configurable countdown timers.
WorldTimer is especially useful for people who are in contact with friends and business associates in other parts of the world. In fact, in this day and age, with internet usage as widespread as it is, it is almost impossible to do without some means of easily determining the time in different parts of the world.
WorldTimer lets you keep track of multiple clocks, in a simple and easy to configure manner. The main clock window can be kept on top of other windows so that you can always check it at a glance. Should you 'lose' the clock window, a quick click on the WorldTimer icon in the system tray will bring it to the top again.
WorldTimer can update your system clock using the SNTP network protocol. This option can be enabled or disabled, and can be set to update your system clock once when WorldTimer starts, or at regular intervals determined by the user. If the system clock does need updating, a maximum correction can be tested for.
A world map can be displayed and optionally the world time zones and day / night regions can be superimposed on this map.
New features in this version include : Simpler user interface, choice of date format, choice of time format, a larger more detailed world map, check for updates across the internet and more ...
