-ViPrinter is a virtual PDF printer. Convert any document to PDF quickly and easily!
Installing Z-ViPrinter is a breeze. Once installed, you can select Z-ViPrinter as the target printer in any application that has a Print dialog. To create a PDF from a document, simply open it in its normal application and print it with Z-ViPrinter. Z-ViPrinter then opens a document preview window in which your new PDF file is displayed. Here, you can sign the document with a digital certificate, encrypt it with a password, save it and print it. Also, you can send the PDF via e-mail or fax with the fax service from www.sms4.de.
You can either use the built-in e-mail interface for sending e-mails or simply use your system default e-mail application such as Outlook or Thunderbird.
Z-ViPrinter offers a 40-/128-Bit RC4 password protection for PDF files to protect your documents from unauthorized access. You can create user profiles to manage sets of properties for your documents, such as file information (title, author, etc.) and security settings, so that you can quickly re-use previously used settings.
The program supports a variety of paper formats, including Letter, Legal, Statement, Executive, A5, A4, A3, A2, A1, A0, B5 (JIS), B4 (JIS) and user-defined paper sizes. Z-ViPrinter can handle printer resolutions of up to 2400 dpi and can create single-page and multi-page PDF files.
The program is not based on GhostScript, which means that no additional software is needed for it to run. Z-ViPrinter is an ideal addition for any desktop computer and makes it very easy to create PDF files for storage or transmission via internet.
